In this auspicious time of Diwali, I wish for all of our SIMA family along with our employees & families to be blessed with the best of health & prosperity!
SIMA is 12 years strong and in this period, has become one of the premier industrial association of our state, and in consultation with SIPCOT has been a bellwether voice in making industries & the government appreciative of each other’s requirements. We interact with all departments of the government and service providers and act as a facilitator for industries & service providers to benefit from each other.
We do have a lot of areas to cover like making the industrial park a green one, driving towards being a carbon neutral estate, by employing solar power for industries. We also would be the first estate to treat all waste water and use it for our greening purposes. Already we are probably one of the very few in the country to use 100% recycled waste water supplied by Chennai Metro, for industrial use. The coming years would see a sea change to the estate and with the young & dynamic Executive Committee’s & proactive support of SIPCOT, TANGEDCO, TNPCB & COLLECTOR-ATE, it is going to be a thrill to be part of such an association and its President for the next 2 years!
